When it comes to the home school environment there are some things that need to be taken into consideration before jumping in head first. First of all teaching home school can e hard if you cannot balance your personal schedule well enough to make sure that the student is getting in enough school. While the flexibility of home school is great for most parents, some will fail at it because they cannot function as well without all of the structure and rules set in stone.
For those people, the public or private school systems are much better equipped to teach their children and to guide them through their school years. Also, there is the issue of very interaction with other children of the similar age. Siblings do not count, as children of all ages need to learn how to properly interact with children outside of their family and outside of their comfort zone.
Home schooled children must be given plenty of opportunities to mingle with other children so that their social interaction can grow and develop as well as possible. As long as you take all of these things into consideration before jumping head first into home school you will be all right.

Tom Moore, CEO of Education Corporation of America, a company that owns and operates online schools throughout the United States, recently defended the online, for-profit education sector from its U.S.D.E dissidents. Moore’s company operates the network of Virginia College career schools and he thinks that the U.S.D.E. and other critics are wrong in their recent assertions of online and career school inadequacy.
Moore argues that a critical path to equal opportunity in a society which continues to righteously divide the “have” and “have nots” is education. Education, he says, is something that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue, not just the lucky few. Traditional schools i.e. nonprofit private and public universities are not the only option. And, for many, these “traditional” colleges may not have ever been an option in the first place.
Moore calls career colleges and online education institutions a vital part of the education community and one which is reaching out to students who want to earn a degree, but may not have the time or means to attend a ground school.
Further, says Moore, as some states continue to cut education budgets ultimately reducing access to higher education, online institutions and community colleges have become even more of a critically important factor in the education sector.

Online institutions and community colleges offer students flexible alternatives to the oftentimes inaccessible and grossly over expensive “traditional” school. We are faced with millions of things that constitute our universe. We are equipped with the mind to think and have a specific span of life to live, wonder, discover and conclude.

From our experience we have identified the following top five reasons which conspire to prevent Executives moving their careers forwards.
Lack of a clearly defined and realistic career goal
All too often the careers for many Executives are managed and developed by events, opportunities or other people. It is relatively rare that we find an Executive who has taken responsibility and managed his or her career through a clearly defined path.
Most Executives respond to external factors such as the call from the headhunter, promotion within their current organisation, or just spotting that plum job in the Appointments section of The Sunday Times.
Whilst these are activities that can and do happen to all of us, we believe strongly that an Executive should take charge of their career and manage it proactively. Specifically, they should have a long term career goal but throughout their career, should be measuring their progress to reach that long term goal. On occasions this may mean moving on from an organisation to undertake either increased responsibilities or a slightly adjusted career direction.
It is rare to find an Executive who clearly defines their next career move. We believe that Executives should set realistic and achievable objectives to move their career forwards. Just like any other business related project, the terms of reference, or in this case, the career goal, should be researched and then defined in writing. Research could be external in terms of understanding the Executive’s market value, but should certainly include a rigorous analysis of the individual in terms of their skills, work preferences etc.
The outcome of this research should enable the Executive to develop a written career goal that is attainable and time scheduled. Setting a clearly defined, written and realistic career goal is the foundation stone for successful career management.
